Job Summary:

As a Commi I – Bakery, you will support the preparation and production of a wide range of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, within a Ministry of Tourism–certified 5-star hospitality environment. Working closely with senior pastry chefs, you will help ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation while adhering to established quality standards. Your role includes assisting with dough preparation, baking and finishing products, maintaining proper storage of ingredients, and following strict food safety and hygiene practices. You will contribute to smooth bakery operations and collaborate with the wider kitchen team to support menu execution in line with luxury hospitality expectations.

Qualifications
• Strong foundational skills in bakery and pastry preparation
• Knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and finishing methods
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
• Attention to detail to maintain consistency and quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
• Passion for baking and professional growth within a luxury setting
