Job Summary:

About the Role

The Abduz Group is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Associate to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, be proficient in Tally, and have the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in Tally.
* Process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
* Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
* Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and vendor ledgers.
* Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
* Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
* Verify bills, expense claims, and supporting documents for accuracy.
* Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as required.
* Coordinate with various departments to collect and verify financial information.
* Support statutory compliance and audit requirements by maintaining accurate records.
* Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
* Identify discrepancies and report them promptly to the Finance Manager.

Requirements

* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
* Sound knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
* Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Good analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
* Honest, reliable, and capable of handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
* Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance requirements is preferred.
